At some point you may ask your self “Should I join a motorcycle club?”. The decision to join a MC depends on your personality and interests. I enjoy riding solo or with 1 – 2 friends that I have been blessed to meet on my travels. Riding my own ride allows me time to relax, meditate, reflect and plan.
Occasionally, I do wonder if I’m missing out on the benefits of joining a motorcycle club which include camaraderie and having a community to talk about riding motorcycles. Today, there’s a motorcycle club to match whatever interests that you might have. Below is a list of general types of clubs.

Regardless of the type of motorcycle club, joining a club offers brotherhood/sisterhood and camaraderie. The best advice given to me was to find one that suits your lifestyle and personality. I researched motorcycle clubs in my area online. Later, I started attending bike night events near me to introduce myself to the local motorcycle riding community. I was overwhelmed by the love and support received from the brotherhood/sisterhood of the motorcycle riding community.
For now, I’ve elected to continue riding solo or with a few friends. The main reason is not having the time to be fully committed to a club. If you join a one-percenter club, which is considered an elite organization, then the club becomes your family and your life. Membership in a one-percenter club isn’t for everyone. One-percenter membership requires extreme dedication.
